
Without this option, the audio from the device would potentially have an echo from being output to the stream and being captured by desktop audio capture.

If your monitoring device is different than your desktop audio device, please select monitor and output. Choose Your Mic Carefully We've all been there. There are a variety of factors that can be monitored when performing audio monitoring.
